For the client as an antique collector, Szu-Wen Wang and Chung-Ting Wang have created a wonderland of treasure hunting in this residence. Combining oriental wisdom and suburban style, the designers have successfully presented a perfect combination of antique collection and diverse styles. The characteristics of humanity and aesthetics are brought to life through the application of European-style TV wall, chandelier, and collection showcases.
This 256 square meter space is a testament to the designer's attention to detail and unique vision. In the bedroom, the bright visual space, neat lines, and golden window pattern create an elegant and delicate atmosphere. The parents' room exudes a comforting and scholarly ambiance with wooden colors, country-style cornices, and wallpapers.
The dining room offers a country-style atmosphere with a log dining table, classical illuminations, and golden wall patterns, providing a warm and inviting space for meals. The designer even applied antique window patterns on the kitchen door plank, another collector's item from the client, which adds an intriguing touch to the space.
The Home for an Antiquarian was completed in 2016 in New Taipei City, Taiwan.
